The project eLearning in Later Life with partners from Germany, Spain,
Slovakia, Czech Republic and Finland ended in January 2008. The project

This newly structured online reference library contains a number of
publications on the subject of third age education. These are sorted

The U3A of Vannes, France has gained a “Quality” award
In October 2005 The European Commission accepted a research proposal involving a partnership of U3As in Namur, Belgium; Barcelona, Spain; Luxemburg and Vannes, France, all members of IAUTA. The project posed the question “Is there a common popular wisdom in Europe?”
In a ceremony which took place at the “Salon de l’Education” in Paris on the 29th of November 2008, the group from Vannes were awarded the “Quality” mark with distinction for this work.
U3A Namur, Belgium awarded a Grundtvig Intercultural Prize
For the pioneering work done in European research the Grundtvig Intercultural Dialogue Prize has been awarded to Namur U3A. This work has resulted in two publications, both of which make reference to IAUTA.
